Faxi Nadu - Nord Modular Pack A
Vocal Synth
This is a collection ofover 70 patches for Clavia's Nord Modular system.
Some of these are useful utilities while others are more elaborate and interesting synthesis tools.
These patches are shareware, feel free to use them any way you see fit in your creations and modify them any way you wish. All patches by Yaron Eshkar aka Faxi Nadu. If you find these useful, spread the word about Faxi Nadu music.
Merkava Filterbank
Requirenments:
At least a base original Nord Modular. Most of these patches are VERY heavy and will require almost all ofthe DSP on an originaln NM. Thus, a Micromodular won't be able to load most of these, especially the synths. Furthermore, due to the heavy DSP load you will be able to use most of the patches in monophonic mode only.

thanks colin
yeah pom loving it so far. it has far less modules than the soniccore modular i love so much, but the sound is superb. for better or worse (mostly for the better) whatever you build it will always have that distinct clavia sound. the thing that stands out to me are the envelopes - super-tight, really nice! also the way this behaves as an instrument not just as a digital tool, the knobs once routed are very responsive.
there is a big downside though - it means i now crave a g2

hey yes it is, in some ways the sc is better in some ways the nord.
the nord is overall more "tight" and more under control and cuts a mix easier (like all clavia products).
the sonic core is more unique, more modules, more elaborate and more geek-heaven, and with it besides the modular you get a whole studio environment. + there are hundreds of third party modules and products for the card some free and some for sale.
but take into account that the older sonicecore products - the pci cards (what i use) are very picky and you need to make sure your computer and setup will like the cards.
if you get a working setup with them they are simply amazing cards.
