i have to mention u probably ment "not trance" rather then "not psy"
most music i hear is not trance and way more psychadelic then trance.. and some of it is simply not psy thats true..

- LOADS LOADS of eurotrance.....PVD,AVD,tiesto,corsten , Blank n jones ,ATB ,cosmic gate, above & beyond etc etc
-ENIGMA
-ENYA (love love both these)
-DEEP FOREST
-MAZZY STAR (Hope sandoval )...relatively unheard of but its some very slo psychdelic types of blues rock.....ull fall in love wit her voice...haunting n angelic
-80's n early 90's electro pop
-Wolfmother (i tot rock had become stale...nothin new but these guys have impressed me with thier oldish r0ck n roll sounds)
-all metal n rock...(was into death,black,speed, power n grindcore)...special soft spot for iron maiden
- to some extent i like stuff from medieval punditz (love their remix album) and nitin sawhney
- Celtic Irish folk music
