Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Judas Priest(!) Metallica, little bit of Megadeth, Dire Straits, Radiohead, Nirvana, System of a Down, Sepultura(Probably the only death/Trash metal band i've heard ) Led Zepplin, Ozzy and a few more.
Now i just listen to Psychedelic which is pretty fuckin sad. Such great music out there and am missing it all. Somehow I just lost touch with the rock/metal scene. I'd so love to listen to some newer stuff. but i dont know any of these new stars or who is making goos muci. So, if someone has any suggestions, PLEASE PLEASE come forward.
If its not too much trouble, please PM me. Dont want to throw this thread out of its tracks.
Thank You!!!

| Tool huh? Yeah, they're great. Even APC are awesome if you've heard of them. Lead singer from tool is in that one.

Yep, I have both albums of that group too Great stuff as well, although I like Tool better.

Q: Non Psychedelic? Does that include smoker friendly music? Or are you talking about everything except psy/goa-trance? That’s an impossible question to answer, unless you got a couple of hours.
I hate these questions. I want to answer so bad to show my diverse taste as well, but I never dear to answer because I know I will forget something, and I don’t like to forget music names .. Anyway, lets see. NON- psy (Even Massive Attack is/has psychedelic music, or better yet, smoker friendly music – THC is minimal psychedelic, but still in the family)
A few selected:
Marilyn Manson
Tool
The Prodigy
Subgud
Skinny
Rage Against the Machine
Aphex Twin
The Doors
Pink Floyd
A lot of Hip-Hop/Trip-Hop (too many names to mention, and I don’t remember names in this genre anyway)
A lot of old 60/70’s rock (same as above)
Depeche Mode
Nirvana
Radiohead
Linkin Park (haha, fuck you too – Listen to their Remix album and you should be able to understand – DEFENCE!!!)
KoRn
Seigmen
Zeromancer
Clawfinger
System of a Down
Fluke
bla
bla
bla
..
.
You see, I cant exactly include Boards of Canada, Future Sound of London, Orbital, Underworld and so on, because you know what. Their REALLY psychedelic without the label psy-trance/chill/ambient.
Taste does also change over the years. Zeromancer .. Never listen to them anymore. But their still inside my heart. Same with Clawfinger. bla bla
It’s like Acidhive said. His main listening focus goes on the psychedelic. That’s because those sounds are worse then drugs. After you get hooked on the psychedelic sound. There’s no return.
