sup sid ! arite to get things straight---
1) Namaha Recs didnt really do this party! all they helped out in was to book the artists! we had no commitments to pay the money but we still got tickets and everything! and i would like to sincerely apologize to every1 for the other artists not coming down because of a valid problem . They were sent back from the customs/immigrations in their country!
2) As far as your money goes sid ! you had spoken to udhav about 10 as far as i think but then later u asked for 15! great going and also those guys were right there so maybe u should have caught a hold of the organizers to get the money right? instead of calling sum1 who is not associated with the money? or are you gonna say now that udhav said he will pay u? i think every conversation u had with him he said he is not the person making any payments!

P.S - music organizers in India. Dunno wha u think of sid but hey 8 bit mp3s dont really make up a dj set and 15 g for that hmmmmmmm not sure what to say!
since u were talking bout trust and things binding the music community dont u think they should know this as well sid!
i mean u bein humble and stuff is all god i appreciate that but this whole topic was sumthing i didnt really apreciate i mean if u had a conversation b4 would make more sense but well!
and hey as far as criticism comes into the picture trust me i have no probs wid that . i would love feedback cause i think thats the only way i would improve! and would encourage ppl to say what they feel like or what views they have but not talk b/s like u do widout knowing facts! ( sorry bout bein harsh but sometimes happens) .

Hello my B'lore homeboy  You need to respect other people's personal choices regarding $$$, your not giving a shit about $$$ is great but it doesn't mean the rest don't..sure money is everything, but let each person make their decisions about the value of $$$ with relationship to themselves.
Times have changed from the 60's & the 90's dramatically as well. Not everyone wants to be a hippy any longer... If a party on the scale of Woodstock was happening i am CERTAIN every single artist/dj on this forum would be willing to play without charge & some even on their own financial expenses.
What about the artists/DJs who feel this music is their calling? And wish to dedicate their lives to this genre of music, despite the risks involved, and yet choose to use this industry as their only source of income? What about them?
What about organizers that need to recover party costs? Artist charges, sound charges, location charges, lighting charges, cops etc etc?? Are they expected to just throw thousands of rupees for ungrateful people to come and dance? off course not.
Your post doesn't make sense to me. I don't live of this genre of music because it lacks financial security; i would if it was a brighter scene, but i can tell you i love it as much as anyone in here if not more =) Put yourself in the shoes of the artists & djs..This isn't community service, its their livelihood 
Hope you get my point

ok sbatra since u wanna discuss in detail..i asked 15, 5 extra bcoz i didnt have return tickets and i was goin to airport to make a tick and go 1 day late coz they cudnt get me a ticket which i had asked for 1 day before..i also lost a day at work and significant amount of cash due to it....so it is fair to compensate for what was promised
and about 8 bit mp3s..get a reality check..i dont play such crap..
afaik as namaha goes..it is the artist rep of the party..if they are saying they are helping in getting the artists down then where is the help..?
about gettin in touch on phone..i tried for 1 week before posting here..if i dont get any kind of response for a week from anyone from the whole organising crew..something is definately fishy aint it..
