Hi gang!
(my first how to topic heheh)
i'm trying to syntesize a vocal pad whitch sounds more like a woman singing one long note than a pad

deep, introspective and mistic

what i have:
-Reason 4
-Logic express (whitout exs24 library)
-Access virus A

that's the best shit i achieved with Malstoerm (wave:femchoir)
no fx,
it just pisses me off, flat end dull

if i use audiosamples it's difficult to get them sounds equally in one octave range, they pitch awful with nnxt and EXS24

Hm, I know how to "emulate" those "a,e,i,o" sounds, which a formant filter also can do.

I think what you try to do here is way more difficult....I hope that Im wrong tho

When I am at home I will try this too and see with what I can come up....will post it here aswell then (give me some hours from now^^)

you said faking it... if you just need the sound, check out atmosphere-vst or some orchestral-vsts.
(they are samplebased).

Thx guys, i was checking on spectrasonic website
the audio demo sounds awesome as expected.
but NO DEMO,ahhhh
i simply cn't afford these vst's rite now they're around 300
i'm gonna search EWQL if they got some kind of playable demos
