Hello guys,
Maybe some of you peoples can help me- i'm looking for some fairy talk/speak or other mystical/legend/tales speak samples- u know something mystical but not about wars or such, something happy and again mystical,
please, if any of you know some movie that contain such a speaks/talks or website or maybe someone have such samples and be kind to share it with me i will be very very happy,
Any tip or direction is more then welcome,

well i know a movie with tales of fairys and goblins...
its an old movie (86 i think) of ridlly scot with tom cruis... i think the name is "leggend" or "the leggend"...
well im not sure about the name cuz maybe its was traslated to hebrew but im preety sure its called "hagada" in hebrew... i think u can find it on "3rd ear"...

Try looking for 1970's & '80s kids tv shows.
I remember loads of programmes which were about mystical subjects (there was a weird one here in the UK called "The Storyteller" which had John Hurt telling stories and fables which were really head twisting). Ther was another show that was also called the storyteller (I think) which was dubbed from the original German into English, this also had loads of weird stories told by a travelling minstrel (what is it about travelling and stories??).
Also, try Time Bandits, a movie about time travelling dwarf thieves and a kid. Labryinth (David Bowie), The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe (Kids go thru wardrobe, find enchanted land, kill evil queen, save lion, go home ), Ferngully (Stupid lumberjack gets shrunken by girl fairy with short skirt), .
Maybe look for footage of hoaxes made in the 1950's which made the news in the UK (two sisters took photo's of cardboard faries at the end of their garden and fooled the whole nation!
If you can get hold of a mic, just find some info through Google (faries description or legend / tale etc) then ask your little sister (or steal a family child with a cute voice) and bribe them with sweets or playstations to say your lines into the mic. Hell, do it yourself and then pitch shift!
I never knew how much I knew about faries, maybe I'm wasted as a musician, I should be playing a harp whilst fluttering over a dandelion leaf, playing infected mushroom tracks using my HARP-PEGGIATOR (the crappest joke ever, but at least I got one!).

Cat's Eye (3 Stephen King short stories made into a movie, the last being about an evil goblin that steals kids breath)

Hey Psymantics, thanks for your reply- well i know the storyteller- we had this program in israel too when i was a little kid- gre8 program i was addicted-
anyway you sure gave me some stuff to check but i think it's going to be a tough job- regarding lord of the rings- it's more of a war kind and not that sweet charm and magical kind i'm looking for-

hahahah and what hertz33 said. which is awesome. thumbs up.
fairies i can think of - zelda - navi, probably could find some good anime voices on youtube, any cartoon with unicorns has weird voices , the teletubbies if you want to make darkpsy ++++ , looking at kids shows actually probably is a good idea.

there is a great freesound sample of this (hot sounding) chick whispering "welcome to our fairy world" which is not quite what you were asking for, but is related and really really awesome.

you could do what ive been doing, use a text-to-speech program, some of the voices arent TOO robotic

Legend (tom cruise as an elf and tim curry as... satan? theres some good fairy stuff in there)
Wizards (animated, 70s)
Any version of Macbeth would be good for the witches, even the Kurosawa version if you dont mind japanese
also Id recommend the diCaprio-Danes Romeo+Juliet Queen Mab speech, its a build in itself
Kids movies!  Im sure theres tons of kids movies with fairys that would be what you want, plus its less likely someone else already used them.
Or you could sample yourself and shift the pitch up an octave, or suck some helium (which would be cool to go that extra mile) then record, and effect...
or pitch correction, a good free pitch corrector is Kerovee, on kvr, or go full monte and Autotune it
Lots of options, but it seems to me that it would be easiest to make it yourself, then you have exactly what you wnat said, effected how you want, and its all your own original work regardless of moral standpoint on copyright, i feel it shows that an artist is willing to go the extra mile to make such things themselves, rather than simply using a recording from a movie or whatnot.

it's the one VHS i refuse to part with just cause it's the best thing ever.
