Wow intense work in that Hol Baumann video. This V/a will close the series on an epidemic manner i feel.

Samples sound very good, but somehow not innovative enaugh for me (right now I like to widen my horizon), so I am not sure, if I`ll buy this. |

I have a little bit of the same feeling. Not innovative enough.

Hello everyone!
Thank you for your feedbacks. To answer to Gunter and Melancholyman, This is not innovative at all, just emotive. It's never been the goal to be innovative cause personally, I don't know what it means |

Well, I think that in general, one should not expect to hear something innovative, because then one can miss a lot of beauty and the fact that what one is listening to IS actually innovative, if that makes sense
I don't know about part 7, but I heard the samples a couple of times and it sounds good.
A few things I learned over the years about Ultimae: their releases are real growers and always of high quality, and emotive ( as Vince just said ) and a lot of the times they are also innovative.
Cheers !

Yes, this seems to be a very good CD - judged by the samples.
All I say is just, that I search for something else, which I lable as innovative, because it is innovative in sense of widening my horizon. Whereas this kind of music - which I like - I have listend to a lot in the past. I just search for new stuff.
This is no anti-promotion .... there will be lots of love and wideness and panorama in this CD. It is just my opinion.

I see your point of view.
I'm just saying that sometimes expectations ( of any kind ) can make us pass over good music, regardless to if it's innovative or not.

Well I'm still gonna buy the Fahrenheit total package, although after my first salary in two months!
And to clarify my point of view was just as Gunter's. I am looking for radically new musical experiences. So i'm not saying this release is bad in any way.

Coucou,
Sorry if you felt my words a little bit "offensive". I respect your point of views and feelings. Myself, I don't listen only one kind of sound and I search often new horizons in my listenings. Have a great evening! |

And I was not so clear in my statements. It cannot really be interpreted any other way than criticism on the release, although it was only an expression of my feelings being in a period where I want new musical experiences. In a couple of months I might be in a state where I want music I feel comfortable with, as this one.
peace

Sunbeam from Ultimae emailed me yesterday to say that the deal online is just the 7 separate CDs. They plan to release all 7 parts of the series in a special small box with a booklet within the next 12 months.
I'm waiting for that
I hate you, you hate me, we are all so hap hap happy! |

My thought has the same drift. Well said bodhi..
This is definitely different then the rest. The "Sound" that some people speak of could be the same but the ingredients are new and emotive, for me that counts to make a new musical journey.
