Have you ever noticed that bad things always come in pairs with good things? Like, not in a metaphorical sense, but rather very literally. If something bad is happening, take a look around and spot the positive. Maybe you just aren't perceptive of the good things coming your way when something bad happens, but I assure you, something good is happening. The flip of that is also probably true, but I try to not-seek out negativity. For instance, the past few weeks of radio have had a few audio problems and glitches, but I have also a few of the best weeks in schools ever. This morning I was woken up by my first nightmare in probably two decades, and still feeling creeped out by it, but that also means that I was sleeping deeply enough to get to the point of having a nightmare that would wake me up. So you know, sucks, good, sucks good. I think the audio problems for my show might be resolved this morning, and those of you who have iPhones and other Smart Cell Phone technology bullshit, you can always use your Internet connection on your phone to stream my show from wherever you are, whenever you want. No need to stress about being on your computer. Listen to me anywhere!

I am kind of bummed about that nightmare. I was actually sleeping. This is a development and concept that I don't take lightly. Unfortunately, it is Friday, so my chances of more sleep this weekend have now hit the wayside. Maybe Sunday night I can get some good shut eye. We'll see.
If you are looking for some seriously awesome Future of Dance Music beats this evening, KID WHATEVER is marking his glorious return to Portland with a set tonight! He is playing at a night called Joystick at Casey's (NW 6th and Couch, PDX). Kid Whatever plays at 10 and it is 21+. I have no idea if there is a cover.
Then tomorrow night, also in Portland, is DOWNTEMPO MASTIFF! Music starts at 8pm and continues until Noon on Sunday! Featuring TWO rooms of soothing (or searing) disconnection. Room One is the Downtempo Room and features the return of Fractalien, a special downtepmo Foxdye set, a special downtempo set by myself and MORE exciting DJs too! Then Room Two is the Deep Ambient Room featuring live sets by Consumer Moves, DJ Devon and The Bad Paneer, and DJ sets from even more too! Really it is a lot of "chill" to happen.
