Good Morning!
Well shit yeah. It's that time. Once again, we have hit a marker. A point. A change. A dividing line that separates the past from the future. A line that is metaphoric in nature, a piece of symbolism to represent a real shift. A shift of consciousness from the old to the new. A changing of seasons of your mind in addition to the seasonal change of the weather. It's been a long winter. Snow, rain, more snow, that one day of sun, more snow. Stresses for all. Jobs being lost. Money being tight. The OLCC being jack off mamons. Free radical ions bouncing off of the cement and keeping everyone at high alert and skittish. I'd like to offer up some cheerful optimism that things will all get better from here on out as the sun sticks around longer, but I cannot. It might. It might not. It might take a really long time to get better. I dunno. All that I know is that if I don't accept the world in which I live in the state that it is in, I will never be at ease and happy. We can choose to change the world and bring about a positive shift, but we might not succeed. If we don't succeed, I can still choose to be happy . . .
What the fuck am I going on about? Damn.

So last week the wonderful Foxdye came down to the KPSU studios and offered two amazing sets of music. Hour One was a live set of choiceness, Hour Two was a DJ set of a different ilk. If you missed those shows, download them now!

If you're looking for something fun to do this weekend, Imago Theater is performing a new piece called APIS tonight and tomorrow. Imago always does amazing things and I imagine this will be as delightful as ever. More info at: http://imagotheatre.com
Then tomorrow is Another Psyde of Sprouts. Featuring Inanna & Twisted Flipster, Facehead, Herbzilla, Deke, and Psyren, this should be a banging and stomping type of psychedelic event. $10 @ the door. More info at: http://www.sprouts.nw-psy.com/
Next week there is some great stuff happening in both Seattle and Portland too, so don't go making plans yet. However, we'll touch upon those next Friday. So stay tuned.
The teapot of tomorrow is birthed out of the fears of today.
