Hello!
Fabrics is a new project from Thessaloniki, Greece. Ed209 and Spinnet started jamming and experimenting with sounds, synths and their laptops in late 2005.
There are no guidelines or boundaries in their experimentation, composing anything that attracts their attention at the time. They are, however, influenced by many great electronica projects as Autechre, Richard Devine, Plaid and Ochre to name just a few.
Now, their first work is starting to surface, with a digital release, Plugland EP, in [ai]D['mju:zik] Records and 2 more tracks featured in net compilations from Cosmic Flower Records and Xynthetic Netlabel.
They have also performed live both in local events and most recently at the international festival Island of Fire 2007, in Lemnos.
