f*ck this plugin as distortion unit! try style "Smudge" and automate drive knob! amazing!

btw i like this plug. nice tape & tube saturation.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE:

i tried it today, i wanted to make some growling mad sounds. however while browsing the presets i just slammed one mastering preset on a whole mix and ended up finetuning that. wow! its subtle enough to not sound weird or distorted but it so makes a difference now in that track.
just for that effect it would be NICE. a little bit like quadrafuzz without anything dialed in but without the strange and sometimes sharp grit that the qf has..

It took me a long time to not associate 'distortion' with nasty sounding gritty crunchy fuzzy....

I mean, distortion can do that, but it can also be very clean and pleasant            If you want to make an apple pie from scratch...you must first invent the universe

it add good hardwarish depth like decap ? will try it soon ! usally i find their plugs on the clean digital side ,it would be a good surpise if they get close to phat analog like saturation !

Idk, never tried a hardware distortion unit. It has more algos than decap and more flexibility that's for sure.
