anyway, on a serious note, I have heard from a few that the I-Phone looks classy but is a failure of a product. and people are now infact waiting for the I-fone 2 which is the second version soon to be released by apple

IPhone is a great piece of plastic. Excellent design just need get used to it. What i miss is special stick used for pocketpc. But hey, this is iphone so make sure you wash your hands before touching the screen;-)
I like iphone a lot..it has nice features, good design and you feel Apple behind. Interesting what Microsoft could do ;-)
What you are talking about is software version 2 and not the hardware version.

Im not entirely sure if they would change the body of the phone itself. but I would still suggest it makes more sense to wait for the 2nd version, or go buy the Nokia N95. There is no argument that the I-phone is a neat piece, looks great (better than any other phone), has oh so many features you would've never imagined to get in a cell phone. But there are some articles I have read that say otherwise that the I-phone hasn't really sold as much as it was hyped to.. leave alone the fact that its expensive and gives less memory. maybe its all a publicity gimmick. anyway, just googled and found these.

i think the G-phone (google phone) is gonna kick I-phone's ass...besides Larry and Sergei are russian gangstas while steve jobs is a nerdy white boy

There will be no gphone at the moment. There will be some sort of a google extension on a few phone models by motorola, samsung and a few more. It's called Android. Google for it

in usa they gonna give free g-phone and u have commercials instead of ring tone when u dial to peaple and also get sms advertise but no bil
may be i got it wrong but thats the rumor!
pritty cool , and made for "benefit" of lower class peaple by give them free cell phone and brainwash on the way
