Hi
I made a high quality harmonic bass xpander. You can use it to fatten up and to clean up ur bass and kick sounds.
There are two modes:
1. Boost - for boosting the harmonic content, inspired waves maxxbass
2. Cut - for cutting unwanted harmonic content to clean up the low end
Through its simple GUI u can controll the Baxpander with only three knobs and a selector for boost/cut.
U set the base freq where u want it baxpander to pay attention and start to work. Add the effect with the amount button, and here is to say that less is often more, but also a higher fx amount can give very nice results. Additional u can change the color of ur low end sounds with the color button. With the Type selector u select between boost and cut mode.
I hope some of u like it and might see it as usable. Here is the link:

Don't hestiate to post all ur thoughts, positive and negative, here.
Peace

Quick question, as I am not at my music computer to download and try it, can you do a combination of boost and cut? It would be swell to do the whole maxbass harmonic boost at the same time as cutting out the crap in the way low end... (just saves having to use a separate eq...)
An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines. |

hey , mate ....
i tried using the plugin in cubase sx v 2.2.0.35 and inserted it on the kick channel ...the baxpander was set to "boost" , which mutes the output of the channel and , when switched to "cut" , functions properly ....
so maybe u need to FIX it ...! |

Big sorry for this buggy release version :|
Later (at least tomorrow) there will be an update to a less buggy version!
@mubali, I also thought about this, useful could be a cleaner->compressor->booster combi. I will see if i can realize it
U can use 2xBaxpander in chain already to cut and then boost.
@WAVELOGIX, I don't know if i am able to do such a midi lfo, but maybe i can try to do something like this.

Wavelogix: I just dont think thats possible cause you're asking a plugin that can interface with every single possible VST out there. Im betting you got this idea from the modular rack in Reason right? I just don't see it happening.
What you could do is make some sounds using ur VST's, import them into Reason (to like the NNXT) and start making crazy types of connections routing ur cables into the Subtractors' or Mals LFO inputs.
Also, if you are trying to modulate basic things like panning, filters, and delay etc, you can use Antares Filter. Has some very powerful LFOs, just hook up the Filter as an Insert effect. |

i want to put LFo's on places , where synths dont allow , or on any effect module parameter ... yeah .. reason could do that ... but then i think , automation is the best bet i have .. ? |
