Is life able to take form and create what we define as intelligence in other places then at this planet?
Is intelligent life a phenomena for just this planet or is it something spread all over the universe in all different possible levels, forms and structures ?

The questions are many , and few are answered. We are located in a universe, bigger then what we can imagine and understand. In reality we dont understand and know what is around us, its like that we are in a huge forest, and all we know about is a tiny little branch of a tree , where we live, and that we call "Earth". All we have discovered is some leafes at our branch were we live ( nearby planets ) but we have no clue whats beyond the tree.
Sometimes we have tried to look from our tree ( telescopes etc ) but we cant really explain what we see, only speculate and guess.
When we look at earth we see that life are being able to take all possible forms.The richness of life, the many different ways it manifest, shows how easy it can adapt to the environment where it lives.It goes from lava to environments without oxygene

To deep down under the sea , to tropical rainforest etc.
For me this points to life as something we could anticipate to find in other places then on this planet, a tiny sand corn in a enourmous and vast desert. Due to the capacity life has to adapt to the environment , why should it not be able to transform and change according to the environment in other places in space than on this planet?
Some days ago i stumbled upon a interesting clip about this issue at you tube , which invoked me with many thoughts upon this subject. I think it can be good to take some ideas and thoughts presented in the clip with a "grain of salt" , however its very fascinating.

Will the children of tomorrow laugh at us for being blind , just as we easily laugh at those who firmly believed the earth was flat ?
Will they speak of us as the people of the old world , the last age of solitude ?
The day before disclosure ? "

I believe that mostly crop circles and photographs of UFO`s etc are hoaxes and human made.And alot of stories of abductes and contactes etc is imaginations, but if only one of this things is true it would change the whole way that we look at the world.However i do believe the universe is full of life in different stages and forms of intelligence, some way , way ahead of what we can understand and some with less advanced structures.
I also believe some exist on another "plane" , like a different slice of the bread.At a level that we cant understand,so therefore we should not only rely on finding them on planets etc since that means that they exist on a similiar "plane" as us.Surely some exist at the same "level" as us ,planets etc. But many could exist in ways we cant grasp. It can be something we cant understand since we are limited by our biological construction.
The string theory for an example includes that it exist alot of extra dimensions, eleven to be precise. It make sense that there are "planes" "levels" that we cant see or experience ,however they would be linked to those we can see , so its a interesting questions how they interact with each other.
Life is a mystery and we know basically nothing of what life is, where we are , what is the universe etc? So intelligent lifeforms dont feel like science fiction at all, rather more logic that they would exist since life is so diversified and able to change and adapt itself to different environments.
The whole existence in itself is like fiction, yet we exist.

I personally think with all reasonable arguments given and researches done and documented in different fields like :
1. The inception of an ecology of a planet and its formation and given the elements of gases etc. to form what we have all on earth is not an easy task and looking back the evolution and how species evolved it is not impossible but hard to imagine that there could be any ET life on any other planet even if there is in our known universe , it would be so engrossed in its own survival and so miniscule that intelligence and its consciousness might not be able to deal with or create contacts and reach us ... since these ET might just be like some bacteria etc. surviving the odds of its own planet and its ecology.
2. Given the hypothesis of time travel and space contraction , which is yet theory for us i feel that even this knowledge is with us earthlings and even if by any chance there is some life on some other galaxy there are chances that with all given probabilities the other (if there is any ) planet and its habitants should also take that much time to even encounter the same dilemmas as ours.
3. now the only thing that occurs to me is that we on earth have such a high level of intelligence that we are creating as we are going further and few might be imagining the distant future like a dream vision and maybe we are already in making of what we fantasize of seeing and believing .
4. Yet there is another metaphysical probability that there are multiverses separated by vibrations and that in each multiverse our own image exists and maybe just maybe we have in one of our own parallel image have learned to jump the spaces which has a high probability if the multiverse theory holds any water
Now taking it further I strongly sometimes feel that instead of waiting for someone to have that much tech. to come and see our planet why should'nt the human race become so advanced as to explore the same way it awaits ETs ............... actually this is a question i can hardly forget whenever I come across these topics
we have amazing scientists working on so many theories and theories do come into action .... so if you watched some of the works of these quantum physicists like Michio Kaku and others working on different realms of imaginable science then I think the probability of us exploring space and time should be a possibility and not a remote one ....

Quiet interesting @login mi bro , I would also like to opine that ET exists and is intelligent and has a high probable of existence ............. yet there have been no definite evidences so far except for hoaxes of crop circles , rumors of certain areas etc. but just when i think that the informations of sitings etc. and intelligent life forms only restricted to certain US areas is a bit too script like ...... dont you think so , I mean come on I sit in INdia travel a lot and interested in what new has been found but to my surprise everything of such sort originates from American parts and why would an alien form just constrict itself to USA and not other parts and earth seems to be the only place to crash
as far as Drake equation is concerned i believe everything BUT the question to be asked is how do figure it in an equation the probability of intelligence or an intelligent being since intelligence is quiet subjective from any point of view and even if it is so then we can equate the parallel of the best intelligence form that we know not what we do not know to be that intelligent as to be present and be more intelligent then the human race since and if we did know then again it can be only parallel to our own IQ level which again would mean that even if there are people on another planet and are as much intelligent as our logics say they would be then they yet would be fighting the same quest as ours so back to square one i guess ......... but having said that we come closer to the multiverse or parallel existence theory which is then around us and just a notch above or below is what I feel till this moment , hope we do find new things in future and concrete . If its possible for our planet to exist with "us" as intelligent lifeforms im quite certain there exist other planets such as ours with more intelligent life on it . Our counsciousness has expanded to an extent that we imagine aliens as something believable and possible and there is nothing difficult in imagining alien intelligent entities out there to my mind , infact it feels only natural and that it is unrealistic and selfish to think that life is only limited to our planet. No one has visited us yet IMO (there isnt concrete proof , the ancient alien series was a bit misleading in trying to prove alien life by discounting our forefathers' intelligence , innovativeness and inventability ) yet with science and technology having evolved so much with pictures of galaxies and the observable universe that the truth is in front of our eyes and within touching distance ; its only a matter of time. Its not just mere theorizing and hypothesis according to me even if there isnt concerete evidence due to it having evolved only so much that we havent actually visited the nearest galaxy.
The future is so exiting and i look forward to it with great keeness to see how far we get in our quest to unravel the mysteries of this fascinating universe!

Which specie or living entity has so much patience to just watch a big ball of water , land mass , vegetation , meat bulk and so many resources and not plunder it coz that is what is happening in universe , we consume light from a star which will die out at some point of time coz of its life cycle , dark matter is used to deflect and direct lights and rays and cosmic rays , stars explode to make galaxies and yet we think that there are friendly ETs who shall on one oppertune day come to us and say " hey we waited for this all our multiple lives " hehehehe ............ just imagine if meat eaters found that from tomorrow the chicken started conversing in human language would they stop eating it .... my guess the prices of fried chicken shall rise to a new level ........... having said that I dont imply here that Aliens will be rude but if they exist and have seen us and have the ability to interact and communicate then its high time by any given standard time frame but if they have not then we are tripping too hard ........ BUT i would rather fantasize seeing Aliens trading with us sooner hahahaha cheers and peace

The cosmos is so vast and infinite that Extraterrestrial life definitely exists. In fact science says there are several parallel universes existing in our current reality. Whether we are in contact with ET or not we still don't know. Some ETs might be in a more basic life form, some might be in a more advanced life form and watching over us. Some might be technologically more advanced than us and some ET might be primitive and some ET may not have technology that can be compared to ours since they must be on another dimension altogether. The entire cosmos is so surreal that everything might be like a dream. And dreams are mind made, so we may be creating ETs and the rest of life by the way we think.
