Hello everyone,
i'm from Montreal, Canada and have been doing a weekly psytrance / progressive radioshow on www.techno.fm for the last 3 years now.
With all the new label's out there, not many get as much exposure as they deserve. If you would like your release to be featured on one of my show's, please PM me for details.
This service is FREE to ALL labels' who release music of under 150 BPM's.
Why should you be part of our show ?
- we will offer you promo on my personal website ( www.djclown.wordpress.com )
- possibly promo on other websites if i really enjoy the music
- Exposure on at least 1 of my 2 hour shows
- your label's link will be added to my website
- Any banners provided will be included in promotion on the interweb.
all this, for FREE. All we request is 1 or 2 copies of your release. All promotion on the radioshow will be "mixed by Dj Clown" to ensure that people cannot just record and re-use without purchase.

I've been doing the radio thing for 9 years and it is hard enough to keep up with the good music, yet alone all submissions. Having a good rapport with fewer good labels is much better than wasting multiple labels' time n money by submitting stuff that isn't going to be used.
Digital download links are the best option for radio promotion, because it is instant and can happen long before official release. Allowing for advanced promotion to get people hyped for the upcoming releases. It also saves the label money on shipping and it reduces carbon pollution because the package doesn't need to travel thousands of miles to reach you.
Keep filling the radio waves with good music though!! We need more diversity in the air waves.

Thanks for the tip Adam. your point is very nice, but for me, it's not appropriate. I HATE having to burn CD's all the time as it gets hard to organise so having the physical CD on hand is much better. There will not be any submission's that go in vain either. I have been working with BNE // YOYO records for about 2 years now and all there releases get played on my show at least once.
I highly doubt to get to the point where i'll be getting 250 CD's per month, so there's no worries about things getting out of hand.
I hope many more label's bite on this cool chance .

Yes, i guess that can do. it wasn't really the objective but where there is a will, there is a way !!
It's just harder to promote specific artists on the radio then CD's as a whole.
The best, for artist promo, would be pre-recorded LIVE sets or DJ sets !
if that sounds okay, send em over !
