Does anyone have experience in using 2 computers at the same time using FX-Teleport ?
In this way U can use 1 computer for arrangement & 1 for heavy CPU consuming FX & Virtual Instruments...for more info :

fx teleport has many "bugs" till today...
i ve tested it on xp2700 / 1gb ram w2k/logic 5.5 ( host ) to 900/ 512 ram w2k ( server ), 100mbit ethercard.
problem first ( n that s really shitty ) u can t automate u re plugs. ( n only vst are working on it )
second, the latency increases about 3 to 4 times...
n other problem, if u like to manipulate your sample ( sample-launcher) it becomes saved on your host n not server...( okay...small disadvantage ).
n pritty much drop-outs all the time...
give them some time to devleop...newer versions becoming worth a try for shure =(-;
till today, if i ve to freeze, i use the fx-freeze...it s about the same as logics6.x freeze...
better chk this out.

fx-freeze. what a waste for me. it takes like 5 minutes for my tracks to freeze when i do it, and then ai can't edit anything within those tracks at all. i hope that in future releases they make it more "production" friendly, but for now, it just seems to slow me down.

eh...organic...is it possible to freeze only a selection of the track or do you have to freeze the whole track...
I'm still stuck on 4.8.1, but will go for 6 soon...hehe...since they have this great offer...

well with version 1 that i have, the whole track is locked down. with these later releases i can only hope that you might be able to locked down certain parts, but seriously the way the prog seems to work with steinberg, its likely to effect the entire channel
