Check out Glyph http://www.glyphtech.com/
they make proffesional external HD's.
The GT050 is a pretty good drive, is what I have.
A good midi controller. Check out the Axiom by M-audio.

get a firewire 800

sata or scazi HD

full power            Nocturnal Wizardz Recs
Bhooteshwara Records
Cubasing is like Freebasing, just with audio.
Both cost more than you can afford, and leaves you sitting in a dark room with no life, craving for more.

if you got the cash go with the glyph hd...
if you want something cheaper but still good go for western digital... i got the 150 GB if i remeber well and it's reliable... so those are ur options in my opinion how many gigs ???? well that all depends on your needs and how much cash you got... the more the better ya know well easy mate.. peace

obrigado for the link brother!

yeah 250 uss not so much if you spent 2000 uss dollars in a music production laptop and the hdd is your bottle neck ...

anyways there arent the fastets models, there are only the 7200 rpms ones.
