we all know that exporting midi parts (from VST and hardware synths) helps us to save computer resources. With hardware synths it's kinda easy bc u can export midi parts to audio by creating audio track and hit record. However my question is: Is there any similar way to do it with VST instruments? I know you can solo the track and go to File->Export-> Audio Mixdown (Cubase SX), but is there any other way of doing it in Cubase SX/Nuendo?

one way is to freeze your vsti. of course, there are other ways at your option, like the one plugin someone posted that records off audio channels.
