Hi
Sometime ago, in one more of the "how to sample movies thread" someone mentioned a software to get the stereo file out of a mpeg/avi file at one go (without having to run the movie and record live)
I used the search but couldn´t manage to find that post...anyone knows this?

I use a pc, but i have only tried it on a mac. in Imovie there is a function called something like "separate audio from file" or something very similar. I belive this can be done in windows moviemaker as well.
Try import the file and see your options |

Hi 2 all! without any proplems You can import audio track from movie directly in Cubase SX. Just create audio track and go to the file/import/audio from video file and choose your movie. as for me simple way. |

Just curious though.. From what kind of movie file formats should samples be exported from to give you good quality? Do they always have to be a DVD quality movie?
