32bit (16.8) is for adobe audition.
i think FL recognizes only the 8 of the bits.
use 32bit (0.24)

The reason it sounds different is because monitor mixer level is set default to "linear" interpolation ... So of course when you are writing it it will sound different to when you render it at higher sync depth.
The problem is that monitoring at high sync depth is really cpu intensive... so it becomes hard to write tracks... So thats why you need to render first and then listen to know what you need to change in the mix...
I get this the same when I am listening to a mix in fruity and then I render with Cubase... it sounds a fair bit different.. |

dont use linear monitoring . chalenge your cpu see if it realy that much diffrent
now i know another reason why people think FL got not as good sound , and like always , its their wrong settings.
FL should really concider take out the lame sound options , as much they are cpu friendly we live in age of quad core as standart... those settings "slow as hell" on pentium 1!!!!!!
and it was true , it used to take me 4-6 hours to render a track on pentium 2 with the best settings , but today it take 4-6 minutes... and my computer is old amd 3200 dual core..

yeah, it is like that on every computer. But in Help they strongly advice to make changes in setting ( play with your own sett. ) I read that the level must be linear.
I only have problem that whan i export some sample it sound little bit low from the main pattern?
I some time use gain or max... |

okay.. i was just asking because sometimes when i've exported in 512sync, some plugins read digital noise from silence, and they amplify it; usually happens with distortion plugs.
