Ok,here goes other cubase question

I want to export all the track separatelly from a project to load them into other sequencer.

Is there any opions in cubase to export tracks individually other than "solo"-"export" one by one??

hold down Ctrl and choose Audio tracks, you want to export ,then go to Export ,to Selected tracks... ,create a new folder for the tracks, click ok and you ready to go.
I fear nothing, so I will remember myself.

It seems to me that exporting selected tracks only work if each of the selected tracks is on the same output of your soundcard. I have a MOTU 828 Mk2, and when I export, I have to specify a specific VST output connection, which kind of defeats the purpose of the 'selected tracks' idea, ya know?

Am I possible overlooking something?           Keep The Faith,

Yeah, I tried the unattended script, but it didn't seem to run properly, it just sat there for several minutes...I'll probably try it again sometime with a different track.           Keep The Faith,

If you wanna finish/mix that track in another DAW you should really consider to get a tool like 'edl translate'or Edl convert pro .It depense on the platforms you work on.If you go from Cubase to Protools or LOgic you can try to save it as an OMF file.
With this method you save alot of time.
All you have to do is to bounce all your midi/vsti tracks. All the other things like timestamp,position,fades...of audioobjects, are saved in that Omf,OpenTl,Edl or whatever file.
If you open the file then in the'other'platform'everything will be just on the right place.
Hope that helps a bit.

Nice greetings

The bouncing of vst/midi is exactly the issue that takes too long....

Looked at the OMF export before & found it interesting, as I have a friend who uses Logic, & was wondering what exactly I could send him with that format.

Cubase is powerful, but it seems to me like they could do things simpler without losing any functionality. I've been looking at Sonar lately, as I like some of the layout & usage options, so we'll see how it performs in this same regard...

Thanks for the feedback .           Keep The Faith,

Humm interesting stuff yeah I want to export to protools...I only got audio tracks, but they have fx so I have to bounce individually anyway no..? I suppose this OMF thing just works for pure audio then...might come in handy!

I have 8 min track with about 40 channels, it will that ages to bounce, but maybe with this OMF at least I don´t need to export the entire 8 min for each track since it will save time positions...hummmm... nice...i´ll definetelly give that a try, thanks

choose main out in vst connection, and it will export whole selected channels thru main out ,the specific is good for sampling stuuf ,if you wanna sample a note from a bass and dont want a master to affect your bass note then you choose a specific .

OMF will be best choose then if you move it to protools ,(do chek this for better result)
select tracks for export in dialog,
from left to right ,
consolidate events,
choose destination,
OMF version 2.0,
export media file references(for separation),
export clip based voliume,
use fades,
clip names,
same as project-exprting sample size,
unchek quantize to the events,
I fear nothing, so I will remember myself.
