try the newest thing up on Tom Cosm's site if you use ableton (and try it, and that technique, if you don't!) - ridiculously cool way to glitch stuff up using a pretty complicated technique..

ableton's routing is just...eesh

Orgy give a smooth try with Ableton..

I had sth like a burn out with Cubase, this was not fun anymore..
I tried to learn new software Ableton kinda revolutionized all inside me when it comes to psytrance production.
I feel like a newborn, endless fun ,insomnia of joy with making tunes.
So much fun it is really worth to try it out .
It is definetly sth else.
And to know Cubase well is only a big advantage to me.           https://soundcloud.com/shivagarden

Heh, im also a "follower" of Tom for a while now. Havent tried that Glitch thing tho.

Mr. Bill did something similar in a video lately. But he used only 7 or 8 Chains...

To stay on topic somehow:
I agree, if you have the time and possibilities (money?^^) you should try something different.

I felt it as a realy relief when I switched from Cubase to Ableton, but I dunno if thats the case for everyone else....I guess not

But its def. worth a try I think...the workflow is so much different(and faster^^).

Any yeah, maybe you should spend a bit money on some bigger speakers

From what I've heard, unless you're really in love with the audio editing in Cubase, you should switch to Ableton. Everything is just so simple and easy to use in Ableton (esp compared to Cubase). Ableton native plugins are really nice too.

Also, you should try producing a genre of music you like, but haven't tried to produce yet. Good way to keep things fresh.          http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound

maybe bring your headphone and make some banks for your favorite vsti ,spend time on synthesis ,and then share the patch i would do that it would be usefull , learning ableton too ,workflow is great and on headphone you can work on a drum sample pack, layers process... make killer one shots /loops
