someone can upload here an exmaple track (1 min) in cubase.
this is a good way to lern...
something simple: bassline, kick, hithat and good EQ.

A good way to learn is if you make this example track your self...
cause then you know what you add and what you have done to it...
tell more of what you want to know about instead?

i understand groot's request, it's so easy to be insecure with what's good and what's not, and when you're beggining there's so much to learn... just a pitty i dont use cubase

u can't get a track to see how it is eq'd because every case is a case :s
well... do not be lazy, put your hands on the mouse and start tweaking

Im 100% with Overdosed
An EQ and compressor are not put with formulas, the settings will completelly depend on what samples you have...

So true...
Fact is, E.Q. and compression are completely reliant on the initial sound - even simple sawtooth basslines can differ in sound depending on the synth...
The most important point is to not use example tracks... but to use your ears on your own tracks...

Also try to A/B compare the tracks you made with commercial releases. By comparing you will notice problem areas in your mixes more easily so you'll know what needs work.

I think this is a good idea to share a Cubase project for biginners, actually I wanted to ask this question before, but I always found the same answer

Why you can't share a Cubase project, that contain midi files for Pad, texture, bassline, kick,leads.. at least we can feel how a psytrance track is made by !
