Ok, generally I don’t like anything from Chemical Crew, but surprisingly enough there was a gem on this album, namely the first tune, “Boost”. It has a very sweet melody and uplifting elements, but unfortunately does get a bit stressful a few times in the last half.

The rest of the album was typical Chemical Crew hyped up music, very stressfull, heavy on guitars and – what some would call it – killer. Basically I didn’t like it.

But alongside “Radio Edit”, “Boost” is the only Exaile track that I like. Still the album isn’t quite worth the money though, but better than expected           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

2 pr0fane: I found your opinion very interesting. As I see you don't like heavy elements in trance. So I'm very glad that even you can find some Exaile tracks are good. Your opinion praise Exaile guys better then horde of Chemichal Crew fans. And definitly Boost and Radio Edit are amazing tracks.

This is something to wake you up easily before going to school / job, great for listening while driving a car (killaaaah ! ), good music for the body... but not for the mind.

2 Templar^: Hi! It's me the guy who worship you and your posts. I'm happy that your divine presence now in this topic too. But please let me say that you need to listen to Hit The Machine album more carefully... Merry Goes Round, Boost, Safe Mode are very psychedelic tracks and I would say that they are for the mind. Remember it is my humble opinion and I would greatfuly accapt yours .

I also did not find this album any special at all. Unfortunately because I too was expecting a lot more from these guys. I found it non-innovative, a repetition of things already heard. The critique should be there no matter good or bad.

i like the production on this album very much, everything is very neat and clean. not too many sounds all at once - very tidy and good percussion loops. i dont dig the chem.crew 'stress' synth lines... to the point that they make me push FF on the cd player... every track pretty much has them at one point. the kicks are excellent, the bass is great. something about this album... i dont know..... didnt like it as a whole.
i did enjoy the 1st track and i do like "Radio Edit" the album has no tracks that resemble that... too bad.
i find i like Exaile more on compilations...
good work all in all, but more variance i think would be better.           "On the other hand, you have different fingers."

I finally had a chance to find this album in shops, as I remember it being one of my best albums for 2004 and I really wanted to have it on plastic. So now I have it.

Anyway, I've been listening to it non stop for the past few days (this and the new shpongle hehe). Absolutely brilliant. Full review coming in the near future sometime.

Yeah, it's a very good album, I have the original and it's the best from Chemical Crew up to now IMO.
Boost surely is one of the best tracks, but there are more good tracks here than the average in most full on albums (I know this doesn't mean much things ).

Anyway, I like it and I'm still playing it!
