Well mate if ur working in VST or Logic for example,u can assign the faders to the internal mixer board. U can also control VSti's with the knobs, like cutoff, resonance etc.
So it is quite handy i think! Experiment and see for urself im sure u will find it useful:)

As Tegma said you can assign the knobs and faders to vsti's to give the feeling of 'hands on'

sweet... someone know how to get to "Generic Remote" in Cubase Sx
it says go to Device setup but I dont see it anywhere in Cubase Sx 2

Devices > MIDI Device manager

From there you can install support for different midicontrollers.
