Let's hope it gets back to what it was a few years ago, just add modern influences to it. |

i totally agree with you Michael ! i wish that the classic Goan sound with come back with some added influences... speaking of classic goa sound... in that track that Infected Mushroom released lately, which is called "Symphosonatic" (or something like that...)there is a breakdown in the middle of the track and then comes in a very fat sound which reminded me of that goa sound... so Michael....if that meets tour expectations, then we have right band to do it .... are you with me with this ?? It is called Symphonatic. not too difficult, you know... ;) Well Infected mada a nice track there with that old goa feel but I heard some tracks from their last album and I don't like it too much. Too technoish... or something like that. |

PPL, Lets face it: We are losing the GO@! You can see MFG stuff trying to get back and they just CAN'T! Even if you try to make the old goa nowadays, even with all your might, you can't really succeed... It's just how The influences in our country changes... (I still think that MFG's last album is great) 10x |

Yaniv Goa trance as u know is dead for long time in europe for some time people prefer groovey minimal trance. the more melodic stuff is now more club as the club trance is using the melodies and stuff which was once goa. face the music X2 |

In fact goa is dead long time ago. I don't like this style definitions and etc... but goa days passed long time ago.. all these eastern style things... face it. Yeah it had a WONDERFULL warm feeling, I remember hearing tracks like Nasha's - Chai Machine and stuff like that, it was AMAZING. The music told me "stories of inexpressible" :)... And even then it was the beginning of the end. But you can't stand on one place!! Everything evolves... Try finding the vibe you like in the music that is being released now. The thing is - know your taste and choose what you like, there is no universal truth here. And also - your taste will change, you will look back and smile. I can only add that things happen like pendulum here. The tendency to minimal hard stuff can cause the tendency to make melodies and vice versa. Enjoy. np: Biodegradable - Ayakhustyx - and reminds me of goa things, maybe because of the sytars in the beginning, maybe because of some other things... :) |
