Ever been insulted at a party?

Well, not directly. At the Usite Fusion in 1999, suddenly at sunday afternoon a group of Nazi-skinheads appeared at the festival. I was completely wasted on some good Hofmann-Trips (you know, those with the bicycle ) and I haven't slept for about three days. They tried to insult people to get into a fight (obviously their choice of a sparetime activity) but no one was even able to get into it, because they were so blown away by the spirit of that great festival. There was simply no aggression so the skinheads were more like some strange aliens from another world, talking in a language no one understood. When they came to me (I don't even remember what they were saying, maybe something about my appearance as I look more Portuguese than German) I just felt that strange and confused emptyness in my head that you get on acid when you are confronted with a situation you don't remember how to handle it. I guess I just looked pretty stupid at them, like a little kid or a curious dog or something. After a while they got bored and walked away. I guess, Jesus was right: Just don't respond to aggression.

Ah, and once at an indoor at the Rote Flora in Hamburg, there was this exemplar of a young hippie spiritual wanna-be elf (you know, those little show-dancing girls that believe MDMA is a spiritual drug and waving their arms brings them into another dimension - at least, if everybody's watching) telling me I shouldn't wear so depressing clothes and I should wear some bright colors instead (I'm usually dressed quite unobtrusive stuff in black, grey, brown or olive - and certainly no hippie-crap ). I just looked at her, realized that she was dressed in an obviously very new hippie-uniform and that she couldn't be older than 19, supposedly on her third party and completely lost in her MDMA-dreams, I just smiled at her and said: "No." And then I kept on dancing because the music was quite good at that moment.
I love humanity but I hate people.

It's time to move on to the next step in the psychedelic revolution. We've reached a certain point, but we're not moving any more.

i always got annoyed when people always say that they are sure i took all types of drugs while i stand there sober... never heard of natural high?

funniest party anecdote:

at the end of a party something went wrong and two people got into a fight....

..... right in front of a huge banner with the peace sign on it

guess that's the psychedelic version of peace???

Each time a production that makes nature parties confiscates water at the entrace, it deeply insults and disrespects me as a human being.
Unfortunately it happened more than once in the last six year or so, but .. What can I do, I learn from my mistakes and just never come to their parties again.

While at the full-moon 'o5 in Germany, i played a set after Cosmo at the pre-party and he jeered me for bringing down the bpms from 160 to about 146, but that was just good fun and we had a good hug later. Some folks scoffed at the fact that I couldn't speak German, 'Silly American' sort of thing, but I really wish I could have spoken German.
I was also laughed at by some passerbys at the same fest. when I attempted to pet a dog that turned out to be a true hallucination...but I had a good laugh about that one myself!           "Any act, if in accordance with the Will, is an act of Magick."

Usually once every few months where I got to a new place (usually in the US) and someone asks me if I'm here to play hip hop....

Not too long ago (about a month ago) I was in Germany playing a party and one guy decided to berate me for being an American. Now I don't agree with the view that the country is showing, but people don't seem to realize that not all people have the same mentality that their government does. I ended up attempting to explain myself, but the dude was drunk and dead set to believe that I was a warmongering capitalist and looked pretty threatening... fortunately I lost him in the crowd a little later.           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

Over the years I've had a couple people come up to me at parties and say something to the effect of "Dude, your tracks rock! What kind of drugs do you take when you write your tunes?" When I replied that I don't take drugs at first they thought I was joking, then they refused to believe me. Once they realized I was completely serious they suddenly were like " Dude, your tracks suck. You're just a poser".           New Album: Jikkenteki - Flights Of Infinity
