Even 11 is one of the most acclaimed collaborations project still running in the Psy scene. All Night Long is the last single released and the package also includes a remix by Swedish producer Atmos.

Even 11

Even 11 is a collaboration between Yannis Kamarinos (Jaia) and Johannes Reigner (Silicon Sound). In 4 years under the Even 11 alias they released singles and remixes on various compilations and have also performed together in festivals all around the world.

Even 11 - All Night Long (Tribal Vision Records)

1. Original Mix

A lot of hype has surrounded this track since it was picked as the soundtrack of the Ozora Festival promotional videos. From the kick/bassline combination to some of the sounds employed this track seems like a direct follow-up or companion of the track City Slickers produced in collaboration with Blue Planet Corporation. A somewhat unnecessary looping female voice sample is a recurring presence, while the song moves in almost uplifting Trance Progressive territories during the breakdown. It is not the best Even 11 track we have heard, Oblivion and the already mentioned City Slickers still top that list, but is a really solid production that will do a lot of damage in the outdoor festivals this summer.

2. Atmos Remix

With 3 artist albums and plenty of singles and remixes released in a production career span of more than a decade, Swedish producer Atmos can clearly be considered a pioneer and veteran of the Progressive Psychedelic scene. With this remix, Atmos moves All Night Long in a more deeper and hypnotic psychedelic direction. While the Original Mix is a track that will especially be used in the peak moments of a set, this is a version that can suit in various moments and with different effects. A really nice remix and in fact one of the best Psychedelic Progressive tracks we have heard this year so far.

Verdict: this All Night Long will be for sure one of the Psy Summer anthems of 2010, even though 2 years have already passed since its first live appearance. We hope to see Even 11, Jaia and Silicon Sound continue producing this type of sound rather than the trendy bland 2 Days released recently. Good to see as well that veteran producer Atmos has not lost yet his magic touch despite so many years on the crest of a wave.

Tracks to not miss in order of preference: 2, 1.

Even 11, I'ts the combination of 2 really veteran musicians in the psytrance Escene, In one Side, we got Silicon sound, who used to make psychedelic in the old day's, now moving into a progressive trance/house with his last release (mai mai Rmx)...and then the allmighty Jaia, someone You Should Now from the GOA school back in the days, now workin on progressive trance and house progg...

sooo...EVEN 11...we remember the outstanding rmx that these duo make to the beautiful In Stereo from Ticon, and the magnificent City Slickers...they now @ LAST RELEASE ALL NIGHT LONG EP on the Delicious Tribal Vision Records something that really Make's me happy since iv'e been waiting for IT like 4 months or more (all night long was in preview mode in they myspace)...

let's get to the main subject shall we?...

ALL NIGHT LONG ORIGINAL MIX...

GOSHHH...THE MOST SWEETEST UPLIFTING PROGRESSIVE OF THE 2010, with huge and powerfull kicks and a "candy that melt's in ur mouth" Bass line, Sharped and precise Percs and Amazing leads...i disagree with mercury in the Unecessary LOOPING OF THE FEMALE VOICE...I think it just perfect ...
the best energetic progressive track from the summer of 2010 in my opinion...

now...THE R-E-M-I-X... i wasn't really sure how the EP Was gonna be released, and im VERY VERY VERY PLEASED THAT ATMOS RMX WHERE INSIDE OF IT... ...

ALL NIGHT LONG (ATMOS REMIX)...

...HOLLY FUNKY FATBASSNESS... :|...Atmos take the track 3 bpm's down (so it became 130 bpms, ussual in his remixes...he make's them so...dalay... ...)starting with an amazing perc groove, and then the most cold ICE bassline ever...SO FRESH...it's like wind taked out from the mountains filled with Snow...pfff...2:57 forward...all night long power unleashed...I Agree with mercury, this version it's a lil bit more mixable than original (in terms of the mood, while the original it's just pure joy, atmos Rmx add's that deepness in progress that we miss so hard on these days...)

in my opinion, this is the best release for the proggy side @ 130-133 bpm's @ the moment, if you like or you remember the old ticon vibes(from zero six after) this EP it's perfect for you, they aren't ticon, they ARE EVEN 11,and im really anxious to listen they're next release (beside crosslink 2)...

auch 14/10 release ...

GO GO EVEN 11!!!
