Genre: Progressive, trance, goa, acid ? ? ? haha if anybody knows a good genre let me know.
Hi guys I just kind of finished up this track. There will be more tweaking of course and I am here for feedback on that aspect. One listener said my vocal lines are out of key but I know they fit into the chord/melody line because I fully redid them all with melodyne. There seems to be some issue here with the vocal volumes at a point in the track that I must fix. As far as mix and everything goes let me know guys. I'm still learning and trying my best. BTW there is a compressor on the master channel just to keep fairly consistent levels and maintain a decent rms. Although my mix is way off =/ The snare as well sounds like it needs something so it is still just as audible but blends in with the other instruments. At the moment it sounds as if it is completely isolated frequency wise.

I have updated the file with one where I tried an experiment. I double layered the master wav file. Then heavily compressed one and left the other uncompressed. I've been curious about this.
Everything is sidechained but it seems like I need to bring out the bass in some areas or reduce the number of instruments playing. If I had to guess it's those damn pads but I've already cut them in several places.

that's quite cool man, pretty listenable, nice and chilled, some nice progressions make it pretty interesting. pretty happy song over all. could maybe do with a couple of one-shot sort of leads here and there, just to spice it up a little
I'm only listening to it on headphones but will comment on mix tomorrow when i listen to it on monitors, but at the moment there's a couple of bits that go a little loud. like i say ill comment properly tomorrow though.
