As some of you know this Ep is a bit old, but under these years no one have reviewed it, and i have taken my time with it to. To find it and to let it melt into my ears and tickle my brain. Itīs minimal progressive music at itīs highest and most devestating level.
The guys have made caught me in a state of anxiety under one years time since iīve never came to the point where i wanted or even could press the computer buttons to write. I never thought i could ever write a review that i would be satisfied with or that would make other readers understand what a piece of crystal clear muddy kick-ass productions these two tracks are.

Iīve loved Etnoscope since i first heard them, and every time i get a hint that thereīs going to be something new released from them i become like a little baby going to the toy shop for the first time. Then you can imagine what i felt like when their album was anounced. What iīm about to write now is something iīve given a lot of thinking and consideration. But i feel satisfied telling it.
These two tracks forming this EP is one of the greatest trance tracks made since my journey through trance land started almost eight years ago.

Iīll try to guide you through the tracks without making it to long.

A Side: No Answer
A lot of words come across my minds everytime i listen to this track. Some of these words are controlled determined crazieness, a deep valley of drums, your worst fear, what nature does when we arenīt watching, a living creaturethat grows as the minutes pass.
After just a few seconds a kick appears and little mind tricks, with fearless discret drums haunting you from ear to ear. 40 seconds into the track a new kick reveals itself and that kick is just the best iīve heard. It lets you know itīs there. The trainlike bassline is nothinh iīve heard before. Until the fourth minute new carefully placed sounds appears that seems to be(just as every other thing in this tracks) aimed for this track, as is theyīve been waiting to come to life. Into the fourth minute small chanting voices with the hardly noticed insect effects taking No Answer deeper into the forest. Spooky spirit sounds surfing through your ears. Suddenly it all fades, the spirits hide in the woods, still present and the break is just perfect. Itīs hard to make minmal sounds create a feeling so strong and anxiently waiting for it to break without a kick and the bass. but just as you think itīs over, the bass comes in following an vendetta like gathering of drums and spook noices. Crazy voices talking to eachother. Voices sounding similar to the ones on Tribal Interference though slightly nuttier:)
And then it explodes! When the beings from the forest come back they takes the madness with them. Trees are coming to life in the deep dark forest to join the final dance. The track finishes os itīs a long outro, so we can rest.

No Answer is the best track Etnoscope has done. Full of wonderful dark sounds and the manage to create something minimal with so much atmosphere(even though itīs atmosphere that make you think of how the orches and trolls would dance to this in a cave).

B Side: Spacless didnīt caught me at first strangely since the first track and this one have much incommon. Here the intro sounds makes you listen to them only and makes you forget all about the colossal kick. this is more of a lighter track comparing to No Answer. More of a sunrise in the dark track.
The Fx sounds donīt get your attention the same, but the are surely very personal, and very airy. Thereīs a choir like layer through the track, surrounded by very dicret and quiet drumwork, and after 8 minjutes a flute sound whistling for a little while, when the track slowly fades.

Iīve listened to the tracks a lot, and i mean A LOT the past one and a half year. They are both musical wonderpieces and they mean a lot to me. i wonder why iīve never heard anyone talked about these ones. Iīts hard for me to think something is so great as these are, since iīm extremely picky and donīt often like any music as much as these two have described my every need in electronic music and set a standard in progressive trance for me now and in the future.

If you havenīt heard these to and are into progressive or just like it dark, beautiful aranged, and heavy, youīll maybe find these two a worhty buy if you find this EP since it took me some time and iīll bet itīs even harder to find it now:)

Cheers!
