						Hey there
tracks from OOOD-Two dawns over Baleswar and a track from the Unconscious Collective - Fluorostani Transendance signed by Flying Rhino. 1996 looks like a long time ago heh.
And yes Colin, what is the actual difference between mastering tracks for the vinyl and cd? |

I'm afraid I can't answer that question fully as I've not yet mastered anything for vinyl, and being self-taught I've never done any training on the matter. As far as I know, some of the differences include specific 'elliptical' EQ to prevent low frequencies getting decorrelated between L and R and thereby damaging the lathe, and restrictions on HF bandwidth and level to stop the cutting head from getting too hot. Attention also has to be paid to the relationship between length of track/s, final level, frequency balance and available space on the vinyl itself. Like I said though, I've never done any vinyl mastering myself so perhaps someone with more experience of this would care to add their thoughts and correct any misunderstandings I may have.
