New album, and a complete departure from their old sound. Very minimal and with some tracks sounding like the delta(track5). Tracks 8-9 have a little of the old etnica sound.
Good cd for parties, not for home listening..

Well you can't last on goa forever, they had to make a change, it started with their previous album released 8 months ago i think..
The album is pretty good for parties as said here before, good progressive sounds, I'm happy with it, I wonder how it will give at a party..

.:. It isn't really a 'departure' from their old sound - it's just production of all the different styles involved in trance. U'll hear the upcoming PLEIADIAN releases are the more ol'skool full-on style while ETNICA will keep doing whatever they feel is fun at the moment ;)
Anyway I really like Alpha-Beta cuz it's funky, Liquid Forms cuz it's a semi-psychedelic dancefloor CRUSHER of a track, Are We Safe because of its finalfantasy samples and sci-fi motif, while Solaris is a nice dark'teknoid stomper. Off the record - The Object is a collaboration with 'The Others' who produces muzik as FISH LOOPS (Milan, Italy).
For parties these trax will grind the fucking floor (super'well'produced - Heaven Tide!), trust me i've tested them ;) .:. |
