Im in a big need of a ethnic vocal phrase, u know one of those where a woman sings some long notes....

i have been looking everywhere for those, on the net, in cd-shops etc. without luck

Im working on a project now that's just screaming for such a phrase! Thanx

def not somethign easy to fidn for free online. i know theres cds of ethnic vocals, i need to find the names. What i have done is taken a famous israeli singer like Ofra haza and sampled her. i have a track from a cd of hers (that my mom had ) that is acappella. too bad many artists used the same sample hehe.

I would suggest downloading some hindi (Indian) music! I got some really nice samples from them..I'll post up a link later..You have some nice "raag's" which is basically them singing long notes..Fits perfect with psytrance!           http://www.soundcloud.com/getafixmusic

find yourself a singer, or look for virsyn cantor...

great synth, takes a lot of resoures and requires at least P4 architecture (didn't want to run on my athlon t-bird, but did run on my intel P4). So you're best off sampling the results But you were gonna use sampels anyway, so...
