ETERNAL: The Atlanta Humane Society Benefit.
The Atlanta Humane Society and Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Inc. was founded in 1873 and is the city's oldest, private, not-for-profit animal welfare organization. Originally chartered to help women and children as well, the AHS now focuses its efforts on addressing the pet overpopulation problem and encouraging pet adoption in Georgia. 100% of door donations will be given to the Atlanta Humane Society.

Big ups to this...Kitty cats are near and dear to my heart. What a great idea to "Stomp out" Pet Overpopulation...Take notice Gaian-Minders. I would gladly pay triple the 5 dollar cover charge to the monthly Zot events if the extra $ went towards something like this. You pay 30 bucks to get into an overcrowded club that plays cheese, or twice that to see a concert full of meatheads looking to fight...not to mention those ironically named "convenience fees"... but I digress...
Makes me think about all the christian hicks I grew up around who told stories of Pagan rituals in the pine barrens where they burn candles, sacrifice peoples stolen pets, and listen to that boom-boom techno music (turns out it was just full moon parties) Rather ironic, no? |
