Every now and then when browsing the web I see people talking about the 'Time when TIP was still good' or 'The best TIP has released in years' etc.
Now I have a few CDs, and two of those I love (Mystery of the Thirteen Crystal Skulls, God Save the Machine), a few I consider ok ( Singles 2002, Yeti albums ) and one that I just can't force myself to listen from start to finish (GMS: The Hitz).
Given that the Crystal Skulls is one of my absolute favourite psytrance CDs ever, and the TIP catalogue being just huge, I would love to get some pointers on where to continue exploring. What do you consider to be the essential TIP albums? Why? |

I think "Halluci: nations" is about the weakest album in the nations series..

Well, Im not fond of your picks either - but the topic is about the tip releases that we like, and not the ones we dont like ;-)

All TIP releases are essential....If i had to choose the most essential one ,i would certainly choose ''Doof-Let's Turn On'' and ''Beyond Colour'' with the best Hallucinogen track so far-Magik! |

Psyhopod - Headlines EP
Orichalcum & The Deviant
... are the TIP releases that make me regret the good old days. Also some great singles by SNAKE THING!! What can I say, I'm a sucker for TIP's experimental phaze |

Oops, I missed the headlines EP, just focussed on the compilations & albums - No doubt, its an absolutely amazing "mini album" from psychopod. Still one of my favourite psychedelic trance releases.

Wow, lots of replies. Thanks all!
I'll include a few of those CDs recommended on my next psyshop order. Those that I can find anyway .. looks like most of the old stuff are out of stock or not listed in both psyshop & saikosounds.
