true, true...a mastering i also agree that is a solid and planned out job...
but i guess with the music creation itself, the possibilities are almost unlimited, you play with your mood, you try to transform your view of the reality and your feelings into melodies...you can go for a 80 bpm "please make me sleep" ambient or chill out, to a 150 "shake that ass" DnB or dark, hard trance...plus sure the rules are there, but mostly to help you in the beggining to understand with ways are easier or harder for you go go thru, and i guess what most (if not all) books about those same rules say is to get to know the rules so you can break them later...
plus when you finish composing a tune, you always stay with that feeling that this little detail here could be changed, and you could have added that little beep over there too, IMO a music is never a no exit road, you cant reach the end of it so that it cant go no further, it is constantly transforming itself.
A remix...getting someones work and turning it upside down...giving it your personality and ending up with something just as good, or better...you cant do that with a mathematic equasion, the result is not allowed to vary...

happenz here too , its cause u have this pad as mouse and while writing your cusor isnt at the right bottom corner of post  like this when u exedently touch it it will stay in the end of the post

Would be good if you posted a sample...
But I have heard it and think i know what you're talking about.
There's a preset called "dance popcorn" in Albino 3 - which sounds very very similar - maybe try playing around with it.
In essence though - it's just a highpassed square waveform with a fast LP filter decay as far as I remember, there are longer held notes too. so perhaps try fiddling with the amp and filter sustain to get a nice held note.
This might not be the lead you're talking about though - so as said would be good with a sample
