Or you can understand that perfect mix needs no mastering. To my mind matching your sound to any reference is wrong. You should compare it to some reference and compare things like clarity of the sound, dynamic range, emotional feedback, placement of elements in "space", development of structure and complexity etc.
Once you get the best out of your track each mastering chain will simply give it an extra edge and bring some details to the "surface". If there is no details to bring up you'll have a boring track with fantastic sound.
