velocity represents how hard or soft you hit a note on the midi keyboard
if you go into the midi editor in Cubase where you have your midi notes you see below where you set the volume of the notes , if you tick that little box on the left (where says volume) other options appearing too , where one of them is velocity and now you just set it by drawing it below your midi notes ,,
for setting velocity to cutoff you have to go into Vanguard and route in the modulation matrix the velocity to the filters cutoff and then set how much you want it to open or close the filter in plus or minus values
i never used vanguard so i dont know where you route things in there, there must be a routing matrix over there

if you had read my post, you'd know that this is wrong...
the only midi controls which submit pressure data are key pressure and channel pressure (known as aftertouch)

yeah it should be "how hard you hit the note on the keyboard" ^^
and the volume-tuner sucks, i cant edit it per note... there appears a automation curve with steps (example 1/64 steps), but i want to manage the volume like the "anschlagstärke" , PER NOTE.
thanks gutter, ill check your routing advice!

infact its "anschlagsgeschwindigkeit" (speed of pressure), not "anschlagsstärke" (intense of pressure)...just wrongly named as that.

Thats right, but in Cubase its called Anschlagsstärke |

its how fast, not how hard
I dont quite get your automation problem, but if I get it right this could be a solution: in logic you can convert the velocity data to volume data. this should leave you with exact automation points, then you can simply adjust the volume and you re done
