I really love Emagic's ES1 & ES2 Synths. However, this software is only compatable with Logic Audio, and currently i am working on a project with Cubase SX.
So here's my Question:
Can you reccomend me a soft-synth of the same level & quality as ES1/ES2, which is compatable with Cubase SX [IE: VST] ???
any help appreciated :-)

hmm...what s special about es 1 ?
chk NI pro 53, muon tau pro, linplug albino
and for replace es 2 maybe the virsyn cube ?
though it works totally different ( additive ) and is a cpu-eater (...depends ) but some sounds remembers me to es 2...( cube doesn t work on athlon thunderbird 900 but ok on the xp2700...maybe u need at least xp/p4 )
btw...why u ve changed ? -cause u like bill-box ?

Particularly top Quality synths :
v-station : should suffice for all your VA needs
z3ta : adds that little 'extra', a la ES2, in this case waveshaping
also might wanna try everything medi said, plus synth1, discovery, albino, absynth, fm7... there are many!

v-station or z3ta are not really near ES2.... I gotta say that ES2 is uniqe ...
although ES1, which has it's crisp osc and interesting lfo actions, u might use V station.
Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...
