Would be happy to make a sample pack of some really nice esm presets i've worked on.. if someone explains how i do it.. this is how im guessing to go abt it..
just cover a range of 2 octaves and say have 4 envelopes (each note played 4 times), then choose the best for each and rebounce??
also im guessing no eq compression right??
let me know, would be interesting.. cheers |

Cool!
ok, here are the brainhacked, aka E.M.P, samples for infinite download:

Thanks a lot man!
Raul V, I made a sequence where every note from C-major (c,d,e,f,g,a,b) is played four times (better make 5 or six) over three octaves.
No EQ, or anything. Everybody can do that as taste later. I bounced it 24 bit wav.
then I imported the wave file in wavelab (normalize it, before doing anything else) and selected from each note the samples with the best, say correct, waveform start (you will know what I mean, when you see it)
Then I saved each note as mono wave file 24bit. I put them all in a folder called "ESM-variation1" and named the notes C1,D1...C2, D2 etc.
Brainhacked made subfolders for each octave which makes sorting easier.
Then you open your choosen VSTsampler, in my case kontakt, create a new instrument, go to mapping editor, open the browser window and just drag and drop the samples on the keys. most samples will have to cover two keys, for instance C and C#, this you will figure out, while draging and droping and moving the mouse up and down. Just make sure that the mouse is over the key, which your sample is, so that the "route key" is automaticaly selected correctly.
For my programs, I just used two notes, and created "zones" which cover more than an octave.
Good luck!
