For all "non logic" users here some samples for basslines from ES1 and ESM. They are said to be very fat, but unfortunately only availabe with logic, so I sampled them for use in cubase with a sampler. I wonder why nobody has already done that (maybe they all keep it to themselves...)

I just (more or less randomly) sampled some different settings (variations)

here http://www.subconsciousmind.ch/cgi-bin/sclitezip.cgi?filename=SCM-ESM+ES1-Samples (1MB) you find 11 different variations of ESM and ES1. Samples and patches for Native Instrument Kontakt. One patch is multisampled over three octaves (almost pure saw). The others contain only two sampled notes (B0 and B1). If you don't have Kontakt you can just use the samples in the directories and use them for the sampler or synth of you choice (wav).

If you want to create three octave multisampled patches for all variations you can use these wave files http://www.subconsciousmind.ch/cgi-bin/sclitezip.cgi?filename=SCM-ESM+ES1-samples-uncut (15MB). Here you have every note played four times over three octaves in one file, so you have to select and cut them, before you can use them.

Please send me any patches created from these samples. Or if you cut and select sample send them to me too. I will put them online.

Do me a favour, have fun, make individual music with it.

Thanks a lot subconsciousmind....the samples are really quite fat...we from "pc land" are really happy with your kind support...

These are nice bullets to load a gun such as kontakt or whatever....

Peace...

you're welcome.

I'm in PC land myself, just installed the old logic 5.5 on my laptop for a week, just to sample...

thanks man ! do you use wavelab to cut them? if yes for saw wavform you have to zoom in vertically too if you want the real start of the wavform at the zero crossing point, anyway i think it s not noticable just by hearing...

I didn't cut it to precisely... wavelab, yes.

I also got one patch with esm "please don't give it anybody" attached to it.

So I found there has to be some resource around here it is.

Any more packs welcome, will put them online (if allowed.. huhuu)

great brain hacked! thanks a lot for the patch! Sounds cool and is not covered by the other samples, nice complement.

If you want I can put the patches on my webspace.

for example
http://www.subconsciousmind.ch/isratrancestuff/brainhacked/filename
or my more neutral domain:
http://www.forumuser.info/isratrancestuff/brainhacked/filename

same offer for all of you. who want to share something.

PM me for ftp login, than you can upload it yourself (I trust in not eating up my space)          Most of my music for you to download at:
