Hi.

I'm trying to create a metallic mechanical sound, something very similar to AMD's signature sound as featured in the sample http://www.sendspace.com/file/9jg13x
I'm talking about the weird mechanical stretchy noises that (almost) create a melody.
Got Logic, Virus Ti and Nord 2X so if any1 knows how to do it on these it'll be great
Thanks in advance.           YEEEEES!

seems like there is 1 lead, with livecut maybe on send channel (or the lead was bounced, with livecut applied)
the lead seems to be sawtooth + fast lfo with very small ammount with destination on pitch (or filter cut off, maybe both) + some small ammount of bitcrusher or similar effect on it.
the wet lead (with livecut) goes off at 19th second with delay, and the dry keeps playing

in livecut warpcut is turned on, with pitch, amplifier, without panning

one more way to create this type of choped like sounds is to put a short deley with a bit more feedback, then you can add little distortion to it..it behaves different if you use it on a lead or snares and such but still the result will be quite nice:)
