Mine also skips at 5:23 to 5:27            - The yeti loves to drink shnaps too, so he's like a real shaman... he, uhm, uh, if you want to contact him, you have to put some alcoholic offerings in front of the forest.

Fuck 'em!

I planned to buy Prometheus' album in my next order, but now I really don't know what to do. To those that have this skipping CDs - when you bought them? Was it just after the release or maybe recently? I guess (or hope) Twisted noticed it and later prints were fixed? Or maybe the later prints are bad?

And about this Doof's "Let's turn on" that was re-printed by Twisted - mine is fucked up too. It doesn't skip, but it has 1-2 sec. of very loud noise in two tracks. And Twisted did not reply to my e-mail about it at all

My god! I mean if I can't expect quality from Twisted then where should I go?!?! It took more than half year from Traveler's promo-review to final release of Robot-o-chan and they did not made an effort to listen to it carefuly?!?! Crap...

And there's a track on "The Lone Deranger" which last half minute is Mono. It's the first one i think.
Accident?

In the 'The Lone Deranger', in the mix between the first and the second track, the tune changes in stereo to mono effect. Was this a wanted effect or a trouble during the mix ?

That was a mistake... in order to join each track on the album, i sampled the end of the last track, and the beginning of the next... then wrote some sort of link between them.... somehow a couple of bits were left in mono.

yeah trip, I'll definitely buy it, probably even this week. but come on! are they trying to conveince us that it's not worth to buy originals? if I wanted crappy quality I'd search for it on dc++ and if I'm lucky I'd even find a release where somebody fixed it

ofcourse there is a cover, inlay and other important stuff, but don't let me get started about what I think of Twisted's covers since they changed Mark Neal to Calx Design...

Not really a flaw, but when i checked today my copy of Robot-O-Chan i noticed that in the end of printed CD there's a little gap and afterwards there's another recording. There are several albums with hidden tracks in the end or the beginning with the same gap and printing followed.
I tried to find it but i just can't find anything hidden in the end.
Maybe someone with newer players noted anything?

I did a check on mine as well, it skips at 5:23 to 5:27...its kinda wierd, sounds like the drums are out of sync..or just misplaced samples...i guess its a common mistake.

ANTIC I don’t think you should buy those releases that you mentioned, if they don’t have the decency to answer your mails then they don’t deserve your money. Just because Twisted records is a house hold name amongst trancer’s It doesn’t mean that they can do what ever they please.
I had a similar problem with Hardcore Blastoff from Hommega records; they send me a replacement right away, I pre-ordered the eye to eye album and got it a couple of weeks late so they sent me a copy of Xerox’s album as well, for free, now that’s what I call service (and I know that they are always starching their release date, but at lease they are service minded)..

well i checked my copy and theres no problem with that one...But i know from previous situations that some times theres some mistakes on a cd here and there in a full print, so i guess the printing can make small errors in some copies...We at iboga has replaced a couple of copies both on cd and vinyl through the years...           www.myspace.com/michaelbanel

If you listened to a promo that released 6 months prior to the actual release and didn't tell the sender of the promo that there's an error in recording than you are a pussy.
I'm sorry, what the hell am i paying 15$ for?
How 'bout some Quality Assurance?
It sure never happens to some of the smaller labels.
