since i had them in my studio for testing for a couple of months this is my review.
for 300$ or 500$ or 700$ pair these monitors are just fantastic.
mixes translate well the sound is balanced with no overhyping.
they are clean and to the point.
you cant go wrong with these they put to shame alot of monitors up to the 700$ area.
i still prefered my dynaudio bm5a just cos i like the dynaudio sound and the more meaty low end.
but for midrange work the equator are better (good mids usually means good mixes)
i was more than happy to work with those if i didnt have to option for speakers above the 1000$ per pair.
i find the equator and the prodipe pro ribbon 8 to be the best monitors you can get with a budget of less than 400$
