yes and no.,
a good analog design beats the shit out of digital when it comes to hi-q eq's (like a 30 channel graphical eq). .,
it just has a better flavour., (if that is your requierement at all)
digital can get that quality but at the moment it's more expensive to do the same in digital i think.,
untill convolution stuff becomes cheaper i'd go for analog if you want to use it in music.,
digital of course has the obvious pre's,
you can save a setup and a digital input is easier/cheaper.,
but it also depends on what you expect from the product.,
digital can be more precise and absolue which is better (for instance) for pa systems.,.
and that's why i dont understand why you're asking this question.,
usually such eq's are needed by people that are very much aware of what they're doing., it's a specialists tool.,,
and if you know what you're doing then you should know the pro's and cons of such tools.,
i know it looks cool but do you know exactly why you need it?
greets.,

My sugestion? Get a buzz effect adaptor(and buzze's machines of course) and use automaton 10v1 EQ.
It's free and it's great!
At least until you can get some decente graphic equalizers, but they tend drink cpu power at breakfast! |
