Hey solipt1c, I read the article "thinking inside the box" and came up with an idea. Wouldn't it be great if you could load a plugin in all the channels and have these plug ins work with each other so that you could see every channel in a different colour in a single diagram showing frequencies in the way it is depicted in the article? It would make mastering a piece of cake! A bit cpu eating, but it would be worth it. It would be a bit less cpu eating if steinberg had this feature in SX that you could activate whenever you wanted so that it wouldn't eat cpu if not needed.

well UIU, yeah, thats pretty much exactly why i drew that like. thats always been the plugin i desperately wanted.

really.... all that needs to happen is this.

u know the channel eqs in cubase/nuendo?
u know the timeworks eq? or any other eq with visualisation underneath the graphic?

combine those, so we get vis inside our channel eq. then add a little menu where u can choose any other vst channel or bus output as an 'aux input' to the vis, which will be added , in a different colour.

that way, if u working with the bassline1 channel, and u need to see how it fits with bassline2, u can just pipe that in. but u dont need to use any cpu on this at all unless u actually choose to do it.

that'd be neat.
