HI JUST TO SAY EPHIDRUM WILL BE BACK AT THE HONEYCOMB ON FRIDAY THE 7TH OF MAY ACTS STILL TO BE CONFIRMED. iF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEAS OF PA'S DJ'S ECT PLEASE WRITE. MUST BE OF A DECENT CALABRE AND GOOD LABEL CHEERS WIL

I got in about 230 which is still pretty shit, but the manager thinks its got real potential so yes I almost 99% certain it will stay on monthly, unless it dosent start to get in bigger numbers but im sure it will, the students will be back/ hopefully it wont be chucking it down/ and hopefully dogma wont make it a free entry night on the night which is exactly what they did on friday. I really do think it will be a lot busier on the 7th which will be great a monthly club would really rock. Plus as written in the observer now couldnt be a better time to really take off! |

Just to say that Deviant Species of ambivalent records is a confirmed act doing a live set! also again there will be mark price in the back room and im pretty sure kev wright also. In the front room pagan and myself wil be playing along with deviant species. Should be very good just need to get my arse in gear and get the flyers/posters out next week! |

Wil that sounds like a great line-up. Deviant species are rocking. Cannot wait.
Also, Kev Wright and Mark would be a perfect combo in the cooler. I personally think Pagan is better suited to more driving music and would be great in the front room backing-up the main act.
I'm sure it'll be busier next time, although it was a great crowd last time even though it wasn't rammed. Lots of love and appreciaition for the music going on.
I'll gather togather as many troops as possible for this one!!

...also wanted to add that Kev Wright has a big cult following in Edinburgh due to his old residence at Sublime. I know folk who will go to any night just to hear him spin.
I think securing Kev would def pull in some more punters, in addition to the psy trance fans. |

Just a quick word to say Ephidrum was fucking blinding the other night. Deviant Species were absolutely superb - had never heard them before but was well and truly blow away by that set. Deep pounding twisted psychadelic techno.
Shame the numbers weren't huge but a quality crowd nevertheless.
Wil, hope you continue hosting these nights.....the word is going to start spreading soon how good this night is. |
