When it comes to Electronic music, the name DJ pr0fane should be very familiar to everyone. Jannick Andersen, DJing for more than 7 years, he’s been spinning in behalf of Iboga Records for some time now, and quality, diversity, and outstanding mixing skills are always a part of his sets.
Now to our ears pleasure, he’s released his 1st EP under the signature of Multiphase on Iono Music, which is now-a-days my favorite label for sure, and I’m certain that this one will be a knockout like every other release of their catalogue.

Through the tracks:
01 :: Kaleidoscope
Starting deep with some melodies and a tight FX and just raising to a upbeat baseline, followed by some nice triggers and a nice back melody. A short break to give you some time to rest, and it just slowly raises to kick back again. And the baseline returns beautifully. Spread open kicks and a terrific hi hat combined with the amazing melody. You can really feel that this has passion, emotions and lots of dedication to it. Very cool smooth and groovy breaks. And the comebacks are wonderful. This would be a combination of FREq / Ace Ventura with Zen Mechanics, if I dear to make one. 
02 :: Nimbus
This one has a sort of Chill start, with some dry kicks and just the melodies and FX’s bumping before a very relaxing break with some white noises and some birds samples. Nice touch. Kinda distorted alternated baseline and a VERY dry kick. This one if much more melodic and trippy than Kaleidoscope. High Hats and a terrific melody. The break enters with a nice deep vocal and sweeps to the baseline back again. This is very chilly and relaxing track. I’m more the Kaleidoscope man. Nevertheless, great tune for a more deep Progressive set.

didn´t listen to this ep yet, and i didn´t knew multiphase was pr0fane, but i am sure this is quality music

Congratulations on your first release, Jannick. You've worked hard to achieve this.
I'm quite happy with the Kaleidoscope track.
Heavypounding, deep, emotional, retrostyle scandosounding psy-progressive, with a bit of a modern touch to it.
Knowing Jannick, of course I see influences of his taste (which I happen to share, to an almost uncanny degree) seeping through, but I think he has his own touch to it, and the track surely feels well crafted.
I'm looking forward to see what the future will bring for the Multiphase project, and to hear how the sound will have evolved at that stage.
