Lani are 2 young Belgium artists - Tim Kaelen (Phasid) & Tom Moons (Jharu) who have released their work on a new independent label - Kairoo Rec
First I must say I was positively impressed by this release. I thought I was going to hear the usual morning full on but I'm glad I was wrong.
The first track is a sunrise morning track, with smashing guitars and catchy melodic tunes which explod at the right time with the right feeling.
The second track is calmer than its precendent and more "environmental" but surely does the right work on the dancefloor. Uplifting melodies, with glimpses of the 90's futuristic robotic and space sounds - reminds me of the old Goa music.
To sum it up a very good release by this label who surely knows how to choose its artists and by of course by Lani themselves. I hope we will be able to hear more from you soon.
