Ohhh.., what a display of intelligence, a real eloquent explanation worth remembering.
There are people who are hardly able to utter two intelligent words, but they always manage to critique that which they don’t understand.

Touchè.
Now being serious do you really consider there is ENYTHING in entheogenic that an 5 years old kid couldn`t understand????
Please,be serious we are not talking about enything complex around here.
Just a cheap imitation of Shpongle.
Oooops,sorry.That hurt`s isn`t???

No that doesn't hurt at all. It just shows how pointless your arguments are.
I do not think that Entheogenic has much to do at all with Shpongle other then being in the same line of music. I actually prefer Entheogenic, but that’s just me.
But if it were true what you are saying, then it would mean that Sphongle is very simple and that his music is understood by a 5 year old child.
But not much sense arguing about this. As somebody else already said before, you either love it or not.

I like Entheogenic, they have managed to have their own style/ vibe. Maybe I am a bit more inclined towards the first album. Just find it ludicrous to compare them to the biggest name in the psy trance scene and then call them simple.

I listened to both Entheogenic albums back to back and somehow started liking them a bit more. I'm gonna give them a few more tries, who knows, they may grow on me even more yet. It's not that they are "difficult" per se, I just had to get used to their more light and airy style of psychedelia. |

I had the same experience as grahf.
At first listening I couldn’t quite connect to Spontaneous Illumination, but then with more listenings it grew on me, and has become now one of my favorites. I actually can tell about a great release only after 5-6 month, if I still enjoy it on a regular basis, then it has passed the acid test.

I loved the first album intially (yummie loopy melodies)... then i heard it too much and got really sick of it.. the stops and the samples i didnt like.. and it became little cheesy...
.. But then the first time i heard the second album i got little bored coz i was preoccupied and wasnt really listening.. the samples sounded same...
then i leave the cd on at night and hear it in my sleep sometiems waking up to beautiful melodies making me feel things i cannot explain to u...
then i hear it back to back the second album and i think its awesome.... few of the tracks are special... Both albums are really nice and the loopy melodies rock... but i might get bored of it in a while... by that time ill have somethign else to listen to.. the sound could do with fresher samples and less of the tabla and raga intros..
and comparing shpongle to etheogenic is just stupid.. |

I love their first album, I think it's the most beautiful psy ambient album out there. (in terms of vibe and melodies)
If you love their second one, you will surely injoy their first one.
